We have been carving out vital space for LGBTQI+ women in London for 18 years. We curate safe Sapphic space and cultivate queer community in some of the city’s most beautiful venues.

From soirées in private members’ clubs to festival collaborations, we are on a constant mission to champion the visibility and empowerment of all queer women and the wider LGBTQI+ community.

Our award-winning parties and events are fun, joyful, powerful places of connection and transformation.

Our Mission

Queer women have spent far too many years, decades and centuries living in invisibility. We have been relegated to the sidelines, corners and basements of society for far too long.

Mint’s mission is rooted in centring queer women. We have been explicitly and boldly hosting parties for all Lesbian, Queer, Bi, Trans, Sapphic Women and Non-Binary people in the heart of Central London since our inception.

Mints Root's: A Soho Legacy

Our founder and CEO, Nicola Chubb (she/her), opened the legendary Rush Bar—one of the few lesbian bars ever to exist in London’s Soho—in 2005. Mint’s journey began at Rush when she launched the first Mint networking event for professional gay women, as it was known at the time.

She has since grown Mint into a thriving 60,000-strong community and is now embarking on a new chapter with Mint Live, transforming Mint Events into a news and lifestyle platform. As part of this evolution, Mint will be rolling out a brand-new membership, Mint X, to replace the previous Black Card. 

Mint Events won a Diva award in 2023 for LGBTQIA Scene Event of the Year. Nikki has also been recognised in The Guardian’s Top 100 LGBTQ+ People to watch and featured in GO Magazine’s 100 Women We Love.
