Gymbox launches UK’s first aura reading fitness class ahead of 2025

Gymbox introduces ‘202Vibe’, a groundbreaking fitness class that combines aura reading with traditional workout methods to enhance emotional resilience and self-reflection in preparation for the New Year.

Gymbox has unveiled an innovative fitness offering called ‘202Vibe’, which marks the UK’s first gym class designed to harness the power of aura readings for aligning one’s energy and preparing for the challenges of 2025. This novel class, crafted in collaboration with renowned aura reading experts and Gymbox Holistic Master Trainer Jess Parkinson, merges traditional fitness modalities with mindfulness techniques to deliver a unique workout experience.

Set to debut on 13 January 2025, ‘202Vibe’ aims to transcend conventional fitness by integrating elements of mindfulness, energy alignment, and personal development. The class is particularly tailored for individuals seeking to alleviate the stresses of the preceding year, thereby enhancing emotional resilience and encouraging self-reflection while fostering a positive vibrational presence.

An aura is described as an energy field that encompasses the body, characterised by seven layers that reflect various life aspects, including health, emotions, and spirituality. These layers are often perceived as a spectrum of colours, each signifying distinct emotional states. Practitioners skilled in aura reading can provide insights into an individual’s emotional condition based on these manifestations.

In terms of structure, the ‘202Vibe’ class unfolds over an hour, neatly divided into four segments: an introduction to aura reading, the actual aura readings and interpretations, a guided meditation, and energetic breath work. Participants will initially learn the foundational concepts of aura reading and proceed to engage in three transformative activities within a circuit: meditation designed to calm the mind, breath work to facilitate energy flow, and aura readings aimed at realigning personal energy with individual fitness aspirations.

Notably, the aura reading segment will be led by Jasmine Monk, an acclaimed aura expert. While certain group members receive their individual aura assessments, the remainder will be encouraged to explore visualisation techniques and engage in personal reflection, thus gaining broader insights into their unique energy fields.

The class aligns with contemporary social media trends, particularly on TikTok, where ‘vibe check’ has become a popular term for appraising personal energy, with the hashtag #VibeCheck generating over a million videos. By tapping into this trend, ‘202Vibe’ offers participants a transformative approach to integrating mental, emotional, and energetic health in preparation for the upcoming year.

Hannah Curtis Nunn, Group Fitness Director at Gymbox, described ‘202Vibe’ as an opportunity for individuals to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level and set their intentions for the year ahead. “This class challenges our members to go beyond physical fitness and explore their emotional and energetic wellbeing,” Nunn explained.

Jamie Greenlaw-Meek, a leading aura expert and director of The Wellness Foundry, emphasised the significance of aura reading, stating, “It’s about understanding the energy that drives us. And the beginning of a New Year is the perfect time to take stock.” He suggested that the class would empower participants to recognise emotional states, identify energetic blockages, and actively shape their personal energy.

‘202Vibe’ sessions will be held at Gymbox Farringdon on Mondays at 1pm and at Gymbox Victoria on Tuesdays at 6pm, starting from January 13, 2025. For those interested in participating, further details can be found on Gymbox’s official website, where the latest class timetables are updated.
