La Clique returns to London for its 20th anniversary, celebrating two decades of spectacular performances in the iconic Leicester Square Spiegeltent this Christmas.

La Clique Marks 20th Anniversary with Return to London’s Leicester Square This Christmas

Underbelly and David Bates, globally renowned producers, have announced the return of the celebrated cabaret show, La Clique, to London. Commemorating its 20th anniversary, the trailblazing performances will take over Leicester Square from 6th November 2023 to 5th January 2024. Tickets are currently available for purchase at lacliquetheshow.com.

In a move to mark the milestone, La Clique offers 20 specially priced tickets at £25 for each show. Additionally, the production debuts “La Clique Lates,” a 70-minute show with no interval, taking place every Friday and Saturday at 9:30pm. These late-night performances promise to add a unique sparkle to London’s winter nightlife.

La Clique’s return to the iconic Leicester Square Spiegeltent invites audiences to immerse themselves in a spectacular evening of entertainment. The show features a blend of new acts and returning favourites, with upcoming performer announcements eagerly anticipated. As ever, the show continues to stun with its mix of daring acrobatics, extraordinary stunts, and raucous comedy, ensuring an unforgettable night for both long-time fans and first-time visitors.

The Olivier Award-winning La Clique premiered 20 years ago and has since travelled the globe, redefining variety entertainment for the 21st century. Its genre-defying performances blend circus, cabaret, and music in an unforgettable atmosphere, widely acknowledged as the original Spiegeltent cabaret show.

David Bates, known as The Spiegelmaestro, expressed his excitement for the anniversary performances. “After two decades of sell-out seasons around the globe, we are thrilled that La Clique will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in style by returning to its resident site in London’s Leicester Square for the 5th season in a row. Being at the heart of the West End’s Christmas festivities is the perfect platform for our family of prestigious artists, and we couldn’t be more delighted to celebrate this sexy, funny and dangerous salute to two decades of the genre-defining experience that is La Clique, in London.”

The Leicester Square Spiegeltent serves as the heart of Underbelly’s Christmas in Leicester Square, an enchanting transformation of central London. The event features Christmas markets complete with outdoor bars, food vendors, and traditional stalls at both Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square. Underbelly has produced this festive transformation on behalf of the City of Westminster since 2016.
