New 007-themed bar opens in London’s Burlington Arcade

A lavish new bar celebrating the 60th anniversary of ‘Goldfinger’ opens in Mayfair, offering fans a unique blend of cocktails, memorabilia and Bond-inspired luxury.

A new destination for James Bond enthusiasts and film aficionados has emerged in the historic Burlington Arcade, located in London’s prestigious Mayfair district. In celebration of the iconic 1964 film “Goldfinger” and its 60th anniversary, a 007-themed bar has been inaugurated, offering a lavish and immersive experience inspired by the world’s most famous secret agent, James Bond.

The three-storey venue is designed to evoke the opulence and intrigue associated with the Bond franchise. Patrons can indulge in exquisitely crafted cocktails, including the legendary ‘shaken, not stirred’ martini, synonymous with the fictional spy. The ambience of the bar is accentuated by gold furnishings, glittering chandeliers, and even a hanging replica of the Aston Martin DB5, the classic car driven by Bond.

This unique venue also doubles as a museum, showcasing an array of authentic memorabilia from the cinematic universe of James Bond. Among the artefacts on display are Oddjob’s lethal bowler hat, Goldfinger’s not-so-ordinary golf shoes, and the spyhole-studded clock from the villain’s private aircraft. Additionally, visitors can marvel at two exclusive Omega watch models in yellow gold, associated with the character — the Seamaster Diver 300M Commander’s Watch and the Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Limited Edition — both emblematic of Bond’s enduring style and sophistication.

Adding to the thematic experience, the bar’s bathroom features gold tile accents, reinforcing the luxurious Bond-esque aesthetic. Furthermore, a 007 boutique within the premises offers a selection of collectibles for die-hard fans seeking to take a piece of the Bond legacy home.

This innovative establishment has quickly caught the attention of social media, with Secret London, a platform that highlights notable attractions in the city, providing an inside look for their followers on TikTok. Their video offering a glimpse of the ‘secret agents only’ bar highlights the detailed thematic dedication present in every aspect of the space, from the cocktails and decor to the artefacts and boutique items.

The Burlington Arcade 007 Bond Bar emerges as a compelling new attraction in London, promising a unique convergence of cinematic nostalgia, luxury, and entertainment, enabling visitors to step into the world of espionage and sophistication that James Bond epitomises.
