Sophie Cachia hints at romance with AFLW star Madison Prespakis

Sophie Cachia and Madison Prespakis publicly share their blossoming relationship as Sophie prepares to welcome her third child.

In a recent social media reveal, Sophie Cachia has hinted at a deepening romance with her new girlfriend, AFLW footballer Madison Prespakis. The 34-year-old former WAG and the 24-year-old athlete made their relationship public last week after maintaining a low profile during the initial stages of their romance.

On Monday, Sophie shared a collection of affectionate photos from a date night at the renowned Sum Yung Guys restaurant in Noosa, where the couple was seen enjoying each other’s company. Sophie, currently pregnant with her third child following a solo IVF journey, showcased her growing baby bump in a fitted blue dress while Madison opted for a matching blue sports-style ensemble, consisting of a shirt and shorts. Their coordinated outfits reflected a sense of unity as they beamed at one another in the photos.

In an emotional caption accompanying the post, Sophie expressed her devotion to Madison, saying, “It was always you.” Madison reciprocated the sentiment in the comments, writing, “Yep, ain’t that the truth, I love you,” marking a rare public display of affection for the couple amid their previously private dating life.

The couple had first gone Instagram official just days prior when Madison shared a heartwarming photo of them at Sophie’s baby shower. During this event, Madison was seen gently caressing Sophie’s baby bump, surrounded by friends and family celebrating the forthcoming addition to their family.

Sophie’s pregnancy journey has generated significant interest, especially as she prepares to welcome her third child while continuing to build her relationship with Madison. Sophie, who shares two children—son Bobby, nine, and daughter Florence, seven—with ex-husband Jaryd Cachia, has openly discussed her experiences with IVF and her aspirations for a larger family. After undergoing treatment, she announced that she hoped to have as many as six children in total, possibly exploring options such as surrogacy in the future.

The timeline of Sophie’s relationships indicates she has had multiple high-profile romances, including a recent relationship with AFLW star Sophie Van De Heuvel, which reportedly ended earlier this year. Following her divorce from Jaryd Cachia in 2019, after four years of marriage, she dated several sportswomen, including Matildas player Alanna Kennedy and WNBL star Maddie Garrick, before beginning her current relationship with Madison.

In an Instagram video montage detailing her IVF journey, Sophie provided fans with glimpses into her life and relationship, featuring moments of joy with Madison, including clips of them singing together and Madison affectionately resting her head on Sophie’s baby bump. Although Sophie has intentionally kept much of her relationship under wraps, her recent posts suggest a meaningful connection with Madison as they embrace this new chapter together.

As Sophie prepares for motherhood once more, her fans and followers will likely continue to witness the evolution of her relationship with Madison, as well as the growth of their blended family in the coming months.
